Call for Programs

Breakout Educational Sessions during the Northeast LGBT Conference are an important aspect of engaging, educating, and advocating for LGBTQ topics. Breakout Educational Sessions are a unique way for students to present topics they are interested in or have expertise in to their peers during the conference.

This year's conference theme is "SPECTRUM: reaching across the rainbow to inspire, empower, and unite".  We will focus on the many levels of diversity within our LGBTQA community.  If you have a program you would like to propose please complete the following proposal form.  Program proposal submissions will be accepted until Friday, February 10, 2012 5:00 PM EST.

All proposals should be sent via email to nelgbtcprograms@sage.edu. Program submissions will be informed of their program status by Friday, February 17, 2012.

The 2012 NELGBT Conference Planning Committee is committed to keeping the cost of attendance for our event to a minimum. We have worked hard to keep our student registration fees low to make our weekend as inclusive as possible. Because of this committement we will not be waiving registration fees for presenters. Instead, presenters will recieve a special gift bag for their time and talent.

Thank you for your submission of a program for the 2012 NELGBT conference.
