NELGBTC
The Northeast LGBT Conference (NELGBTC), is an annual conference held in March or April of each year for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and ally college students and the larger LGBTQ community.
Mission: The Northeast LGBT Conference (NELGBTC) is an annual conference working to unite our diverse community through education, activism and networking.
Origins: The Northeast LGBT Conference was first conceived of by the Student Association at the University at Albany, State University of New York in 1995. Through the collaborative efforts of students, faculty, and community board members, the conference will provide the information and tools necessary for our past, present, and future attendees to create change on and off their college campuses.
History: The Northeast LGBT Conference has at times also been referred to as the East Coast LGBT Conference and the Northeastern LGBT Conference. Founded by the University at Albany Student Association, the NELGBTC is in its 15th year.
