The Northeast LGBT Conference (NELGBTC), is an annual conference for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and ally college students and the larger LGBTQ community.

Theme: Sh(out): Celebrating Self, Creating Community

2010 Vision: The Northeast Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Conference aspires to empower lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer (LGBTQ) and Ally students to become informed advocates at their institutions. Through education and activism around LGBTQ issues, students will lead the movement to strengthen LGBTQ student success and community advocacy; and engaging in a collective experience will mobilize student voices and identities to guide positive growth.

 

 

NELGBTC to host Campus Pride: Voice and Action National Leadership Award

The Voice and Action National Leadership Award is an honorary recognition highlighting the outstanding accomplishments of young adult leaders at colleges and universities across the United States. The award is presented to undergraduate college students who are creating positive change for LGBTQ and ally issues within their campus communities, local communities and region of the country. The Northeast LGBT Conference will host the presentation of the award to at least one of the 2010 awardees.
